2023 Offerings and a 2023 Collective Reading
What the year ahead holds
I am pleased and eager to share my offerings for 2023 at www.blackhausart.com and www.annierosenberg.com and a 2023 Collective Reading for the year ahead in this week’s Substack. This space has grown so much since I decided to combine my writing and musings for both of my businesses and I am eager to watch it continue to grow.
From here forward, I will continue to share a Weekly Collective Reading and Channeling every Friday for my Paid Subscribers, and (most) Mondays I will share a weekly musing related to all fields of my work.
Black Haus Art
Recently, I have taken the time to collect my artwork from the galleries where it was hung so that I could share my original artwork through my own website and shop. That will be released later this month. This is how I will sell and share most of my artwork for the duration of this year as I take a break from creating work to be displayed and focus back on creating work as a channeling, therapeutic, and healing process. This doesn’t mean I won’t be sharing work in any galleries, it just means most of my work will be shared and sold through my own outlets. Make sure to follow Black Haus Art on Instagram and Facebook for the shop announcement or keep an eye on my shop here.

2023 Collective Year Ahead Reading and Channeling
Last year’s major lesson: The Emperor
A card of power and domination. The Emperor is a powerful leader and explorer and he has the strength to go forward and move with action.
In Imperial China, The Emperor’s symbol was the dragon. This represented masculine yang energy. This symbolism shows us the dynamic, strong, and focused energy of this card—a strong catalyst for change.
The Emperor is ruled by the sign of Aries, the ram, which surround him in this card’s art. Therefore he possesses strong, stubborn power. Since there are two rams, this power is balanced and holds the energy of strength and focus to move forward.
There is potential for great growth when we see the Emperor appear. Goals can be achieved with great movement and focus. But we also must not tell others what to do, how to act, or how to be with this Emperor's power. Instead, we must harness it as our own.
Last year’s most significant achievement: 4 of Wands | Completion
Four is the number of completion, and with the energy of the Emperor being our lessons, this 4 of Wands holds the fulfillment that comes from the power we chose to hold.
The 4 of Wands shows us completing an accomplishment or goal. It also asks us to reflect on the journey that landed us at this energy of completion.
What you let go of last year: 4 of Swords | Truce
Another 4 and another reminder from the number of completion.
The primary lesson of this card is to let the mind rest after a time of battle. This battle with the sword energy is mainly inward. No one lost, no one is to blame, and although there are still issues, you can take time to rest and rejuvenate.
Let go of the past, allow completion, and move forward with the lessons.
What to expect this year: The Hanged Man
It may seem like we have nowhere to go as we approach this new year. Like we have hit a dead end. Like we have no options left. But we can always turn around and walk another way. We are allowing ourselves to be suspended upside down, viewing the world from a different angle. Moving forward, even as we move backward. An old way needs to be let go of in order for us to move forward.
Powerful powerful words in this placement.
This year’s biggest challenge: 8 of Cups | Indolence
The eight, a symbol of infinity, reminds us that this year felt like it would never end. That we may have wanted to give up. That we may have lost interest in our goals. But we are reminded to rest and recover so we can let go of these feelings of endlessness and move forward - leaving the past behind.
This year’s theme: 5 of Wands | Strife (Reversed)
I never read cards in the reversed position. I make sure they are always upright and straight. This card slipped by that rule and allowed itself to be pulled upside down. I didn’t notice this mishap until after I photographed the reading. Therefore I felt it needed to be seen and its meaning to be reversed.
Rules are meant to be broken, even our own.
In the reversed position, this card of Strife allows us to let go of competition, pettiness, and any feelings of struggle. You feel free, released from feelings of imprisonment, and at ease. There is a great amount of support at this time from those you surround yourself with. It is time to let go and accept yourself and others exactly as you are.
Advice for this year: Queen of Swords
The advice for the year ahead is that of emotional control, control of the mind, and control of the thought process. This is a card that liberates the mind from any restrictions it may have possessed. I see this as a way to unwash the mind, a way to remember our original thoughts, a childlike mannerism, and awareness through what we see, not what we are told. The truth lies within ourselves.
The transition from last year to this one: Knight of Wands
A clear, dynamic, and action-filled path forward. This card reminds us to remain confident and explore things with an adventurous and focused view. There is a passion associated with this card and in a collective sense, I see this as a rekindling of all things. A passion to move forward, with great hope and a bright future. For all.
I hope these offerings and these words bring you peace, hope, and love for yourself as we move into a new year.
So much love to you all,
Annie
