Synergy and Channeling
Something that has come into my reality within the realms of the deep inner work that I often dive into - is how drastically different we each are. In my youth, the organization of others I surrounded myself with was often labeled simply as good, or bad. This was after a brief review of a person based on what I had been told about them, the type of music they liked, the books on their shelf, or the clothing they wore. This made it easy for me. It made people pretty basic and easy to figure out. I never dove deep into their lives, and they never dove deep into mine. But there was this part of myself that I never listened to. Like a mother shushing a child trying to speak up. A part of me that knew the parts of others that they often didn’t even see in themselves. This slowly started to take away the basics of those I surrounded myself with and often caused me a great deal of discomfort. My mother, her mother, and her mother before - all had similar gifts in different areas. My mother a dreamer, my grandma as well, and I am someone who can figure people out on a deeper level by simply meeting them. I hid this part of myself for a very long time and continued to silence these thoughts because they often showed me the shadows of others, which is what I focused on. But with time, I soon realized that we all have shadows, especially myself, and those shadows are equally as beautiful as the light we offer the world more openly each day.
I think many of us can see people this way. It’s only when we allow ourselves to truly see people that all of us can see how deep people are. I am not alone with this gift. It is a muscle we can choose to exercise.
I see these things I speak of above, like a home. We all have an attic. This upper part of our being offers us to the world on a basic level. This is how acquaintances know us, how people see us when we first meet, and our most common form of self.
We also all have a living area. This is the person we show to our family and close friends and those we spend more intimate time with.
Then the basement — and we all have a basement. This is the form of ourselves that even we don’t spend a great deal of time with. The form of self that uproots in times of stress, and the form of self that protects itself at all costs without even thinking. This basement is where our shadows lie and a house without a basement feels incomplete, as even a basementless house at least has some space under its foundation.
In these current times, within this eclipse season, allow yourself to open the attic door, air out the hallways, the bedrooms, the kitchen, and the living room, and walk into the basement with a candle to take a moment to see what you can within this slight illumination. Not all parts of ourselves can be bright, and there is power in what is not. Sometimes all these things we keep unseen want — is to be acknowledged. It is only then they can transmute out of the darkness. But within these illuminated parts we are often reminded to sometimes close the curtains in our attics, and turn the lights on in our basements because without darkness, there could be no light.
April Collective Reading
Past: Strength
With the strength card in this position, the recent past was a time of overcoming obstacles. These obstacles are often related to our doubts and fears. In a collective reading, this is a cumulative effect of those you are surrounding yourself with.
This may have been a time where you have had to have Strength within your own beliefs and thoughts, and as my channeling mentions above, we are all divinely different, therefore our experiences and beliefs are as well.
This standing up for yourself, and honoring your own beliefs brings us to the present card, The Sun.
Present: The Sun
Following The Moon card in the path of the tarot, The Sun comes in as a moment to shine. With the return of the warmer and longer days here in the northern hemisphere, this card is in the right place in this present moment position. This is a time for everyone to collectively shine.
Between the magical energies of The Magician and the Strength of the past, this is a collective time to honor your Strength and be proud of what you believe in. The Sun offers warmth and radiates strong energies throughout.
As my mentor and teacher put it “The Sun card is, the Sun Card.” The present moment put simply.
Future: The Magician
This is one of my favorite cards in the tarot, simply because I find it fascinating that such a potent card is the first card in the journey of the Tarot following the zero of The Fool. When realizing this within my studies of tarot, it showed me that each card on the Fools path is just as potent as the next and the order and number of where it lays has nothing to do with its potency and lessons. Each card holds a place.
The Magician teaches us just that — and in this future position, it shows us to use all the tools that we have gathered throughout recent times to move forward. Use what we have learned to go to where we are meant to go. As each of us offers something specific and unique within this lifetime, it is like we are creating an alchemic elixir together. Therefore the darkness only enhances the light within each of us and together we can make a potent journey forward.
I wanted to take a moment to welcome all of my new subscribers and thank those who have upgraded to paid memberships.
