December Collective Reading and Synergy
Synergy
I feel as if I am revisiting these readings as another new version of myself. This reminds me of the collective element of these readings. How in a sense time has changed us all within the last few months. How we have navigated eclipse season, changes in the time, and changes in the weather. Therefore I think it is safe to assume that all of these things find you in a different place than the last time you sat with my readings.
In my last Substack, I announced that a monthly reading would be available to all of my paid subscribers starting this month. With the changes I speak of above, I have decided to offer these monthly readings for everyone. There has been a lot of back and forth within my writings and offerings here and I have decided this is not a space to find financial gain for my offerings. I want to share what flows within the beauty I observe and I feel this vessel of a writing space should be open to all. Thank you to those who support me through donations and continue to subscribe through these changes. I will keep the paid subscription open simply to support my work for all.
However you show up here today, it is great to meet with you again in this space.
Monthly Collective Reading for December
1. Ourselves - Four of Cups | Luxury
Cups represent the element of water. They are our emotions, spirituality, and the small sense of knowing we all hold within. Four is the number of completion. The word offered at the bottom of this card is luxury - representing excess. The astrological influences are the Moon in Cancer which shows its potency of excess as the Moon rules Cancer.
Within this placement, we may see ourselves in a time of ease and feeling more content the further we move into December. Things may flow with harmony again and we may feel that we have all that we need.
The moon is shining its light to illuminate us once again after the shadows of the recent eclipse season.
2. Micro | Our Communities - Eight of Cups | Indolence
Another card in the suit of cups which again hold the themes of water. Eight is the number of infinity. The word on the bottom of this card is indolence which can offer us laziness or sluggishness. The astrological attributes are Saturn in Pisces and within this mutable sign, the restriction that Saturn offers are not received well. The waters in the cups are dark which shows us that our emotions may be slow and weighed down.
This is a time to rest, to offer yourself healing and nurturing, and to leave the past behind. A great time of the year to do so as December concludes the modern calendar year.
3. Macro | The World - Three of Swords | Sorrow
Swords represent the element of air and connect us to the mind, thoughts, ideas, and intelligence. Each of our minds view things differently and we all see the world uniquely so this air element displays the knowledge that all swords can be held differently - depending on who holds them.
The astrological symbolism is of Saturn in Libra. Libra connects us to our relationships and the placement of this card offers sorrow on a world scale. Although this seems dense, density can accumulate to help us release. It is in times of sorrow when the most transformation can begin as we are often complacent in happiness and joy. This is therefore a time of deep release within the mind, on a worldwide scale.
4. To the East | Our Physical body, health, careers, and possessions - Five of Discs | Worry
Discs represent the element of earth. The astrological attributes are of Mercury in Taurus. This energy stalls the fast-paced Mercury from creating change - therefore creating worry.
This may be a time when we are focused on our health, finances, and the possessions we have.
This is common this time of the year with the holiday season and end of the year approaching. We are often focused on closure and starting new. I see this worry as more of a focus within this placement in the reading.
5. To the South | Our actions, will, drive, creativity, and spirit - The Lovers
The Lovers is a blend of the masculine and feminine within us all and is ruled by the androgenous Gemini. It allows us to combine the dark and the light within ourselves.
I see this as a way where we combine all the aspects of ourselves. Those we have hidden, those we have created, those we have learned, and those we have attained from our ancestors. Instead of being who we want others to see us as we become a combination of all of the things attained within. A time to fall in love with ourselves so we can then fall in love with others - with great discernment of course.
6. To the West | Our emotions, and spirituality - The Prince of Discs
This Prince is the earthly part of air. He is practical and intelligent as he rides his chariot pulled by the ox plowing the earth.
His arrival in this reading shows a time when our emotions and connection to spirituality are practical. When we know our inward path takes time, dedication, forgiveness, and understanding. When we can offer ourselves deep growth - with time.
7. To the North | Our mind, thoughts, emotions, and intellect - Seven of Wands | Valour
Wands are the element of fire and fire is a card of action. Seven is a number of deep questioning and seeking. The word at the bottom of this card is Valour which offers a time of great courage. The astrological attributes are of Mars in Leo showing us the strength of the lion in the hands of the god of war.
The sevens placement shows us more of an inner battle where our emotions may need our assistance in grounding them. Our inner lion may feel at war, but this is where the mind can be strengthened and offered immense growth.
Until next month,
