A Channeling
A body of compartments
A storybook of our existence
The joy stored in one place
The sorrow in another
The nooks and crannies of a lifetime
Tucked away neatly
When we can meet these moments in authenticity
We can process them
Transforming ourselves
In a catalyst fashion
One organ affects another
A symbiotic dance
A pathway to vitality

Past: 6 of Wands | Victory
Wands are ruled by the element of fire. Fire rules the sign of Aries which we passed into this past week. Fire is our action, will, drive, creativity, spirit, and ambitions.
The number six of this card is a number of balance as six is known as a perfect number. Six on the Kabbalistic Tree is the tiphareth, a placement of beauty and harmony. The six wands are also arranged to form a lotus flower that is arranged beautifully with the phoenix’s head, the solar wings, and the uraeus.
The symbolism on this card offers the energies of Jupiter in the sign of Leo. Jupiter is a planet of influence, nobility, wisdom, fortune, and business. Leo is known for its creativity, passion, warm-hearted approach, and humor.
With this card in the placement of the past, it offers us a sense of victory. That the conflicts, disagreements, and times that we have had to stand up for what we believe in, within the recent past, maybe give us a sense of victory. That is if you have stood up for what you believed in. If you stayed silent, this victory may be shared through the thoughts, actions, and words of others. Perhaps guiding you to speak your own truth in the future so the victory can be shared by you as well.
Present: 3 of Swords | Sorrow
The present moment may be a time of hardship. No matter how this shows up for you, the words of the past, and the victory it speaks of, may have not landed you with a sense of ease, but with a harder sense of truth.
Swords are represented by the element of air. Air is our mind, our thoughts, and our ideas. The astrological attributes are of Saturn in Libra. Saturn is a planet of judgment, rules, restrictions, fates, responsibilities, and also of time. Libra connects us to our relationships and partnerships and Saturn can unbalance the Librian scales.
When this card shows up in a reading, it shows me more of a processing of deeper emotions rather than living through a time of deep sorrow. There is great strength in this card for when we process the harder thoughts, the harder times, and the harder emotions, we offer growth. For the next time, the sorrow we are given from the harder things we have seen in the past will show up less dense. This isn’t a hardening of the heart, but a lightening as we can process deeper emotions each time we work through them. Offering deep and spiritual growth.
Future: Princess of Wands
A beautiful card to reflect the words I offered about the 3 of Swords. When this Princess is shown to us, we have worked through the sorrow of the present and moved into the celebration of the future. It is a card that offers lighter energy, celebration, and joy while healing the heart that was once pierced. With this nourishment that we are offered, we can rejoice and reflect this joy onto others. Allowing them to catch the joy and spread it like the wildfire that the wands represent.
Until next week,
Annie
